4 June 2026

Great to see such a strong turnout at our June ELEVATE Tradies Breakfast. We brought together a great mix of awesome tradies and suppliers for a casual gathering, good conversation, and a solid start to the day before heading to site.

Our Tradies Breakfast was focused on bringing together local tradies and suppliers for an early‑morning networking opportunity designed to fit around the demands of the working day.

The event focused on creating a relaxed, practical environment where attendees could connect before heading to site, with the format allowing people to drop in, grab a feed, and engage in informal conversation without disrupting business‑as‑usual. The strong turnout reflected the value of providing a space for the trades community to come together in a way that suits early starts and busy schedules.

Cashflow with Mel Curwood
15 May 2026

It was fantastic to see both members and non-members come together to connect, learn, and support local business at our recent Business Breakfast held mid‑May at Ōtorohanga College.

We were delighted to welcome Mel Curwood back to Ōtorohanga. Mel shared practical insights focused on cash flow and business systems, that attendees could take away and apply, adding real value to the morning, complementing the networking focus of the event.

Following feedback from our recent Business Members Survey, the event format was refined to place a stronger emphasis on networking, allowing attendees more time to engage with one another and build business relationships. This updated approach aimed to better balance valuable business content with genuine opportunities to connect across industries.

With a relaxed and structured format, the Business Breakfast continues to provide a relevant and accessible opportunity for local businesses to come together, share ideas, and strengthen connections within the community.

Leadership and Gratitude with
Rodney Dow
November 2025

Our November 2025 Ōtorohanga Business Breakfast was an inspiring start to the day! We were privileged to hear from Rodney Dow, Ōtorohanga Mayor and successful business owner, who shared valuable insights on leadership, teamwork, and the importance of showing gratitude during the busy season.

Rodney reminded us that strong leadership isn’t just about making decisions, it’s about building trust, empowering your team, and appreciating the people who make your business thrive. His practical tips and personal experiences sparked great conversations among attendees.

It was fantastic to see both members and non-members come together to connect, learn, and support local business.
